How this works

Each case is generated live as you type. Title Case has its own style buttons since different style guides disagree on which words to capitalize: AP and APA lowercase short articles, conjunctions, and prepositions (three letters or fewer); Chicago and MLA lowercase them regardless of length. The first and last word of your text -- and the first word after a colon -- are always capitalized in every style. These follow each guide's commonly-cited rule of thumb, not the full official manual (which also accounts for a word's part of speech, something a simple script can't reliably tell). camelCase and PascalCase treat any run of spaces or punctuation as a word break; snake_case and kebab-case do the same but join words with underscores or hyphens instead.
